Improve Your Strength and Enhance the Quality of Your Life

Dave and Pam Wanted to be Self-Sufficient

They don't want to rely on a caretaker as they age

"We have grandchildren, and we don't want them to have to take care of us."

"My back pain does happen less frequently... When I used to have back pain, I would trip around all day. Now, I get up and do my back exercises, and I'm fine. And I know it is because I am getting stronger."

"All I can say is the program works. That's it. It works."

        Kathleen Beat Cancer

But she was weak. After falling four times in 2019, she decided to get stronger.

Since starting at the gym, she hasn't had a single fall:

"In 2020, I didn't fall. Not once. And a few of the falls in 2019, I was bruised badly. Hit my head on my own oven. It's nice not to fall now. When I teeter I catch myself and I have the strength to catch myself. I don't fall down!"

"I don't have that constantly going through my head: 'watch where you step, be careful."

        Ken Reversed Type II Diabetes

After training for strength for six months.

"My A1C was over 14 and my glucose was at 296. They were going to put me on medication and I wanted to do everything I could to not go on medication."

"I had a consult with my doctor and he recommended that I do some strength training. He recommended Starting Strength and I left my appointment and came right here."

"After about 3 months I had dropped that down to 7.5 on the A1C and just over 190 on the glucose. As of last week, my A1C was down to 6.2. The doctor came in and said we're not even going to talk about medication."

        Patricia was Diagnosed with Osteoperosis

Her doctor suggested medication or strength training - she chose strength training.

"I just went for my follow-up bone density test two-weeks ago... The bone density in my spine has improved 7% since last year. I've also moved out of the osteoporosis range back into osteopenia."

"Since Starting Strength, I don't have back problems at all, it makes such a difference to have stronger back muscles."

"It's challenging, but within my capability."

At Age 70, David is Stronger Than Ever

He's more than doubled his strength.

"It's turned the direction of my aging the other way. If anything I'm younger than I was two years ago. I'm stronger. I feel better. I'm getting a better night's sleep."

"It helps me with my recreational activity which is hitting softballs as often and as long as possible. It's increased my distance."

"There's nothing else I could have done that would have done this. It's pretty much perfect, I don't know how else to describe it!"

At Age 91, Virginia Started Strength Training

She put her walker in her closet and hasn't fallen in over a year

"I was really in pretty bad shape when I first started. I wobbled when I walked and fell pretty easily. I didn't think just doing exercise would help with that, but they certainly have. I'm walking better. I haven't fallen down since I've started these exercises. I'm just a lot stronger in every way and I feel better. My sons say, "Mama you're doing a lot better!"

"I can do so many more things. My balance is better. Everything is better! This is what keeps me coming back."

        Alexanne Had Debilitating Arthritis

She had both hips replaced and then became septic

"I never really thought that I'd get that sick in my lifetime, so it was shocking."

        She decided to get stronger:

"I like being strong. It feels good. I'm more capable. It's even more important for a person as you get older than even a person in their middle age or a young person."

"Walking up stairs is much easier. I can step in and out of a bath tub without feeling like I'm going to fall. Daily activities are much easier and I don't think about them as cautiously as I could have."
      • Stronger is Better

Your Dedicated Strength Coach is an Expert at Making You Stronger

It Works for Everyone, Every Time

Your Coach will evaluate your capability and select a starting point for you on day one.

From there, you'll make incremental progress - lifting a little bit more weight each time you train. Within a few training sessions, you'll notice an improvement in strength, balance, coordination, and how you feel overall.

There are no term contracts and results are guaranteed. Once our members experience what it's like to be stronger, most decide to make Senior Strength a part of their lives.

We Are "Engineers" of Human Health and Performance

Our Coaches are the best trained in the industry. We are experts at getting anyone, of any fitness level, significantly stronger - safely and efficiently.

When you train at a Starting Strength Gym, you are assigned a Coach that is responsible for your progress. Your Coach is there to decide what exercises to perform, how to perform them, what weight to use, and how much to rest in between sets.

Increased muscle mass, improved bone density, better balance, less joint pain, and better cardiovascular health - we produce these results for every one of our trainees.
